Villa Finder

When I found Rachel Agnel’s holiday consultancy service a month ago I suddenly realised that all the time and frustration that I have spent over years and years on trying to find and plan family villa holidays could have been drastically reduced if I had known earlier about her excellent service. I worked out that I have spent up to two days(probably more)! of expensive work time when Rachel can help resolve all of that hassle and frustration for a very reasonable fee. I will definitely be using her from now on.

I’ve used Rachel’s villa finding service twice now – I honestly don’t know why you would book your own ever again. Rachel is far more knowledgeable about the areas than I am, she knows what sort of questions to ask owners that you wouldn’t think of, and she is flexible and patient as you narrow down the parameters to find what you really want. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Thanks again Rachel. Honestly I spent hours scouring the net and didn’t find this villa. You made our lives so much easier.

We were looking for a house in Italy for my mother’s 70th…. the problem: there are 14 of us over three generations including children from 2 to 10 and a wheelchair user. How could we find one that met all the different needs and wishes? Easy answer – ask Rachel! One email explaining the situation and she found us two ideal properties, both exactly what we were after and in budget! But it wasn’t just that. She then was in regular contact with my mum right up until we went (and during): answering questions, soothing worries and sorting (with help from the local staff) everything from car hire to cooks (amazing!) to the loan of a mobility scooter. She was thoughtful and amazingly responsive throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, or the property we stayed in. Thank you so much Rachel!

The Villas
Blanche, Ile de Re villa.
We absolutely loved the villa and our whole time on Ile de Re thank you! It was sheer heaven. There was something beautiful to look at wherever you turn and the temperature was perfection. I wasn’t once too hot or too cold. The house was absolutely fantastic – hacienda style, well decorated in a space modern/retro beach style and we actually preferred staying in to eat than going out! It was a total joy. There were lots of beautiful places to sit and read, a number of different tables to eat at. It was incredibly private (not overlooked) and far enough from the centre of the village to be extremely quiet. We loved Sainte Marie de Re because it was quieter than the other villages, but it didn’t have many restaurant options (which might be important to other guests).
Tournesol, South west France villa.
The house was perfect and exceeded our expectations. It was obviously loved by several generations of owners who gave it a real family feel. It was very well equipped with attractive serving dishes etc. and lots of everything and we had such a very happy week with the family surrounded by acres of sunflowers and cornfields. We made constant use of the tennis court and pool and enjoyed visiting several old villages. Thank you so much for all your help.
Grimaud Garden, Cote d’Azur villa.
Thank you so much, we would recommend Grimaud Garden. The pool is fab, a great temperature without the need for heating. The 3-3:30pm waterfall to refill the pool was lovely, our children liked that! The house had A/C upstairs, which was a bonus. Downstairs bed had a fan, it’s on the back of the house with no direct sun so was fine. House location quiet, near neighbours but not noisy at all. View over vineyards next door. Garden was pretty. Location good for Grimaud & Port Grimaud and on the back road to Plan de la Tour. The house was very clean and the kitchen had a range of appliances and all you could need to cook etc. Extra fridge in attached garage for drinks & ice creams. No Sky but that was fine by us! WiFi good. Overall a great villa.
Giu al Trullo, Puglia villa.
The trullo was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived, Enzo met us in Cisternino and we followed him up on his motorino through the olive groves into the hills outside the town. The trullo was set back off the road behind security gates and our first impression was of the gardens. They were landscaped around the pool with architectural cacti and flowers and the pool was huge. When we walked into the trullo it was cool (the temperature was 34 outside!) the conical roof stretched upwards and the place was spotless. It was deceptively spacious inside. The rooms were airy and there was a welcome hamper on the table. Some days we just lounged around the pool enjoying the amazing weather and the beautiful pool. The boys loved it and after your villa in Meganissi in Greece last year I thought it would be hard to beat but this was even better! We are both firm converts to the villa holiday thanks to you!
