Your Villa in Provence
Luxury Villa in Provence with Pool
When I first visited this chic converted farmhouse, I knew it was a hidden gem. Situated in glorious Provencal countryside near the impressive medieval village of Bonnieux, the setting is exceptionally tranquil and picturesque. Its family friendly appeal is due to the huge gardens and an enclosed, heated swimming pool which are ideal for young guests. The owners live there themselves for some of the year and rent it only through trusted contacts for a few weeks in the summer so early booking is essential, particularly as it is the kind of place guests return to year after year for a family holiday.
Top features include:

max no of guests
mins from Marseilles airport
Fantastic Outdoor Space
The garden areas are extensive and private with mature trees and stunning views. A favourite spot is the sunset hill for evening drinks as the sun sets over the village of Lacoste. Thoughtfully designed for practical summer living and views, there are three different outdoor living and dining areas – by the kitchen, the pool or in the sunshine on the elevated east terrace. Here you can admire sublime views to Mont Ventoux in the Luberon hills.
An enclosed, heated, outdoor pool
For parents, this inviting child friendly pool is heavenly as it is heated and enclosed, so many happy hours will be spent here.
Space and Privacy
The maximum number of guests is 12 but with 8 bedrooms, there is always enough room for everyone, particularly singles who wish to have their own room. The bedrooms are split between the main house and outside suites.
Staff
There is a regular maid service and linen is provided. An informal cook service can also be arranged or a professional chef can cater for a special celebration or one-off meals.
Well located
This villa is a good base for exploring the area’s colourful markets, medieval villages, wineries and countryside. Here you are about 2km from the charming hilltop village of Bonnieux, with other wonderful Luberon villages are within easy reach. Nearby is a scenic cycle track which passes lavender fields and vineyards, while a cedar forest in the hills is ideal for a morning run or nature trails with children. Michelin star restaurants and good quality bistros are aplenty.
House manager
A dicreet house manager is on hand to help you arrange activities such as horse riding and bike hire.
Stylish
The owners have furnished the villa in an elegant country style, paying close attention to details and quality for maximum comfort. The large ground floor living rooms are beautiful areas with wonderful glass doors that open to the courtyard.
This is just one example of the kind of villas I have access to in Provence. If you prefer something smaller or a different style, please let me know and I will send you details of alternatives.
